Today is the Equilux in the UK, so we went to the beach to celebrate. Today, the sun spends an equal amount of time above and below the horizon. The seasons are on the change for sure now. Atlantic winds threw dune sand in our faces, sea foam spat and showers strafed but the sun was still bright and warm in the shelter of the machair. It feels good to be in Scotland on days like this. These are Scottish weather days. At the moment, we confuse ourselves daily by thinking balance is a rare commodity in our personal lives, but balance is only ever temporary, about tension, signposting flux. Balance is a tipping point. But today we're granted equity. We can travel, we can eat, we are healthy. We are the lucky so and sos.
