industrialisation has recently been given the go ahead.
We were up there yesterday. And now we're down here, at work. Eight days in the Cairngorms, eight days of winter walking, often arctic temperatures, eight days of learning. Not about economic viability, the aspirations of concrete and glass, more about organic interdependency, and sastrugi. An 'Introduction to winter skills' course at Glenmore Lodge, a review of which will follow. A few days out on the hoof, finding our feet on ice and through snow - some tales from that too, in time. And a good part of a day spent with a true mountain gentle man in Ryvoan, which I can say no more about, for now at least, but will let you know when I can.
