2017 Calendar available for pre-order

I'm very pleased to say that my very first calendar is available to pre-order, for £9 including P&P in the UK (£12 international), on the paypal link below.

If you're in need of a calendar for next year, thinking about gift ideas, or have wondered about supporting by snapping and scribbling habit but haven't found a good enough reason to do so yet, now is the time!

It looks a bit like this... but more 3 dimensional and papery:

As with most of the landscape photos I take, the idea is to try and show some less familiar sides to Scotland's high, wild places. Most of these photos are from high or deep in the mountains taken while on trips, but there are one or two from or near the roadside. As a result, some may be more familiar than others, but it's a conscious decision to avoid honeypot shots - there are already plenty of folk doing that, some doing it really well. Hopefully these deliberate choices won't render me completely bankrupt by the same stroke!

The detail:

All the images were taken in the month they are shown on the calendar. It opens out to A3, from A4, so there are good sized boxes to jot down your daily appointments. There's also a secret double page centrefold included (don't worry, I'm not naked). Other than that, things are kept fairly clean and minimal. There's a low resolution preview of the whole thing, HERE.

Printing can be a dirty business, so I did some research to find what I hope is the best option. The calendar is printed on 100% recycled (cocoon silk) paper by one of the more environmentally sound printers in the UK, who work to a high standard, low impact ISO accreditation. It's stapled rather than spiral bound, and postage will be inside a card envelope to ensure it arrives safely.

When will it arrive?

I'm taking orders during October, printing early November, to be with you well before Christmas... or your money back.

If you fancy one, please Paypal me with £9 (£12 international) and a message saying 'Calendar' using this button:

Please also include your postal address.

Pre-ordering helps me work out demand, keep costs and waste down, but you can also drop me a line to reserve a copy - either in the comments below, via the contact page or social media.

Thanks for showing an interest and reading this far. Please help spread the word by sharing this post (after you've pre-ordered your own copy, of course :)
